Many Red Soda musicians have performed on some of the world’s biggest stages alongside internationally renowned artists. Today, they bring that same experience, professionalism and passion to weddings and events across Sydney.

Why Add a Singer to the Harp?

Some songs need their words. Imagine John Legend's "All of Me" sung as you walk toward each other, or Il Divo's "Nella Fantasia" soaring over the harp as you're pronounced married.

The harp sets a calm, beautiful mood. The singer gives your songs their words, so the meaning lands with every guest. One moment it's an aria. The next it's Alicia Keys.

Not every song has to be sung. Many couples have the harp play the prelude on its own, then bring in the singer for the big moments.

Which Ceremony Moments Do We Perform?

We cover your whole ceremony, with your songs at each key moment.

Prelude music as guests arrive, then your entrance, the signing of the register and your exit. Keep us on for drinks and canapés, and your guests get relaxed, sung favourites while you're off having photos.

It's the kind of moment guests are still talking about at dinner.

What Does Harp + Vocals Need at the Venue?

The harp plays unplugged, and we bring a small sound system for the singer.

Give us a covered, shaded spot and a power point nearby, and your Band Manager sorts the rest.

Who we are

Who Are the Musicians?

We're degree-qualified singers and harpists, and many of us trained at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Red Soda started in Sydney, and we've played 2,000+ weddings here since 2009.

Every weekend we're reading an aisle and judging when a song should swell, and by now it's instinct. Tell us the songs, and the rest is ours to carry.

Harp + Vocals: Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a harpist and singer cost for a wedding?

A singer giving your song its words, and a harp setting a calm, beautiful mood underneath, so the meaning lands with every guest as you walk in. Harp + Vocals starts from $1,350 in Sydney. Travel within 30 km of Sydney is included, and venues further out are priced by distance in the Package Builder. All prices include GST.

Can we choose the singer for our ceremony?

Yes. Watch the singers in the Package Builder videos and choose the voice you love, male or female. Hearing the voices first makes the choice easy. Your Band Manager confirms your singer is available for your date before you book.

Does every song have to be sung?

No. You decide which songs are sung and which are played on harp alone. Many couples keep the prelude instrumental, so guests settle in to the soft sound of the harp, then bring in the singer for the entrance and the big moments.

What power does the singer need at the venue?

One power point within 3 metres of where the singer stands. The harp needs no power at all. We arrive up to 20 minutes before your booking starts to set up the harp and the sound system. Our instruments and sound system can't play in rain or harsh Aussie sun, so plan a covered, shaded spot and a wet-weather backup.

Can the singer perform classical songs at our ceremony?

Yes. Couples choose classical pieces like Il Divo's "Nella Fantasia" as well as modern songs like John Legend's "All of Me". We sing both, so one ceremony can hold an aria and a pop song side by side. Song choices are due 8 weeks before the wedding.

What's the difference between Harp + Vocals and Instrumental Harp?

Instrumental Harp is the harp alone: calm, dreamy, and surprisingly full from one musician. Harp + Vocals adds a singer, so your songs are sung with their words and your guests know why you chose them. Both play your whole ceremony, and both can carry on after it while you have photos.

How many guests is Harp + Vocals right for?

Up to around 100 guests. The harp plays unplugged, and we bring a small sound system for the singer, so every word carries to the back row. For a fuller sound with a singer, String Trio + Vocals pairs the voice with two violins and a cello.
