The prelude as your guests arrive. Your entrance down the aisle. The cheer as you walk back up it together, married. These are the moments you'll replay forever.
Choose strings, harp, or a singer performing the song that's been yours from the very start. For strings, we play from a library of almost 1,000 arrangements of today's biggest songs, written exclusively by us. You won't hear them played this way anywhere else.
A Dance Floor Nobody Wants to Leave
Reception dance floors are really our specialty. We read the room: when to bring back the 90s, when to slow it down for your dance with Mom, and exactly which song gets your uncle out of his seat.
Go all in with a live band of three up to nine of us. Or choose a DJ combo: live music through dinner, then a DJ with a live sax player weaving through your guests. Don't skip the sax.

How Much Does a Wedding Band Cost in Boston?
It depends on the night you want: how many of us, which parts of the day, and where your venue is. Each musician adds something you'll hear. Keys at four pieces, a second singer at five, sax at six. Sax changes everything.
Ceremony music starts from $550 and reception music from $2,150.

Can We See Red Soda Perform Before We Book?
Yes, from your couch. There are over 30 hours of video of every singer, string group and band in the Package Builder. Watch a few singers back to back and notice which one makes you both go quiet.
When you're ready, your Band Manager confirms your singer is available.

How much does a wedding band cost in Boston?
Ceremony music starts from $550 and reception music from $2,150. Travel within about 18 miles of Boston is included. A live band starts from $3,400 for a Three-Piece Band. Book your ceremony and reception together and a package discount is applied automatically in the Package Builder.
How long does a wedding band play for?
A reception runs over five hours, with live music throughout. Between sets, we play our Spotify playlist, or yours, so the room never goes quiet. Your Band Manager will shape the timings around your day. That covers cocktail hour, dinner, your first dance and the dance floor, right up to the final song. We read the room the whole way: when to bring back the 90s, when to slow it down for your dance with Mom.
Can we have a live band and a DJ?
Yes, and it's one of our most popular setups. Our DJ combos give you live music for cocktail hour, dinner and your first dance, then a DJ for the dance floor, with a live sax player or electric violinist right among your guests.

Do you play weddings across New England?
Yes, in all six states: Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine. Accommodations for us will sometimes be needed for longer trips, so please ask your Band Manager if you're unsure. Wherever you marry, the night is the same: strings at the aisle, then a floor that stays full until the very last song, with your Band Manager planning the day around your venue, Newport mansion or Vermont barn.
Are Red Soda musicians professionally trained?
Yes. We're full-time, degree-qualified musicians from Berklee College of Music, New England Conservatory and the Juilliard School, and some of us have played with the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Some of us have also performed with Stevie Wonder and Ed Sheeran.
How far in advance should we book?
As soon as your venue is confirmed. Saturdays and fall foliage weekends are always snapped up first.
We're often booked up to 12 months ahead. Wedding coming up sooner? It's still worth asking, because your Band Manager can check what's possible.
Can we choose our own songs?
Yes. Choose your songs for the prelude, your entrance, your exit and your first dance, and we'll play them live. For strings, we play from a library of almost 1,000 arrangements of today's biggest songs, written exclusively by us, and a new String Quartet arrangement may involve a small music preparation fee.
