Many Red Soda musicians have performed on some of the world’s biggest stages alongside internationally renowned artists. Today, they bring that same experience, professionalism and passion to weddings and events across Boston.
Who We Are
Red Soda began as friends at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Today we're full-time, degree-qualified musicians, and many of us studied right here at Berklee College of Music and New England Conservatory, others at the Juilliard School. Some of us have played with the Boston Symphony Orchestra.
A backyard tent in Concord. A ballroom in Back Bay. A barn in Vermont. We've never missed a wedding we were booked for.
Musicians Who've Played the Biggest Stages
Some of us have performed with Stevie Wonder, Ed Sheeran, Justin Timberlake, Michael Bublé, Daft Punk, Meghan Trainor, Pat Benatar, Il Divo, Lionel Richie and Paul McCartney (The Beatles).
Then on a Saturday night in Boston, those same hands are playing your first dance. It's why so many guests ask how they found us.
Dance Floors Are Our Specialty
It's the part of the night we live for: the first chorus when everyone rushes on, your grandma dancing next to your college friends.
We read the room. Classic floor-fillers to get every generation up, then today's biggest hits, so the floor stays full from beginning to end. What your guests hear is us, live, in the room.
And add the sax. Couples tell us all the time: don't skip the sax.

You Choose Your Singer
Find the voice that gives you goosebumps. Your Band Manager confirms your singer is available, then we build the band around them.

Your one point of contact, start to finish. Song choices, timings, little ideas: one less thing to worry about.
The Package Builder
Over 30 hours of video and more than 100 combinations. Watch the singers, strings and bands, then mix and match until it feels like you.
Why We Film Instead of Running Showcases
We used to run live showcases. As Red Soda got busier, those nights started getting in the way of the weddings themselves, so we poured that energy into filming instead.
Now there are over 30 hours of video to watch whenever you like. On your couch. With your partner. Sent to your Mom with "this one!" in the subject line. Couples love exploring it, and many spend 20 to 30 minutes trying combinations.
One Booking, One Band Manager
We play you down the aisle, then we're the ones getting your guests dancing that night, so the feeling of the day carries all the way through. One Band Manager the whole way.
For your ceremony, choose strings, harp or an acoustic singer. Our strings play from a library of almost 1,000 arrangements of today's biggest songs, written exclusively by us. You won't hear them played this way anywhere else. For your reception, choose an acoustic act, a DJ Combo or a full band.

About Red Soda: Frequently Asked Questions
Are Red Soda musicians professionally trained?
Yes. We're full-time, degree-qualified musicians. Many of us studied at Berklee College of Music, New England Conservatory or the Juilliard School, and some of us have played with the Boston Symphony Orchestra. We play weddings together every weekend, so the musicianship and the wedding know-how come as a pair.
How long has Red Soda been playing weddings?
We've been playing weddings live since 2009, when Red Soda began as a group of friends at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. In all that time, we've never missed a wedding we were booked for. Today we play weddings in Boston and right across New England.
Can we choose our own singer?
Yes. Watch the videos and choose the singer you love. Your Band Manager confirms your singer is available before you book, then we build the band around them, with the musicians they play with every weekend. It's the voice you fell for, singing your first dance.
Can we see Red Soda perform before we book?
Yes. There are over 30 hours of video in the Package Builder, with more than 100 combinations. Watch any time, compare singers, strings and bands, and share your favorites with your partner. When you're ready, your Band Manager confirms we're available for your date.
Do you play weddings outside Boston?
Yes. We play right across New England, including Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine. Travel to your venue is included; accommodations for us aren't, so if they're ever needed your Band Manager will let you know. Harbor-front ballrooms, coastal lawns, mountain lodges and red barns in the fall: each state has its own page, with the venues we travel to and what to plan for.
