One of our most popular reception packages, the DJ & Two Piece Acoustic Duo is a perfect upgrade for the Solo Vocals & Guitar or Two-Piece Acoustic Duo options. This gives you the best of both worlds; a wedding live band earlier in the evening and your first dance live, followed by a full-on dance party later in the night.
Experts In Keeping Your Guests on the Dance Floor
Unless you specify differently, we’ll set the mood with soft background music on guest arrival, during cocktails, appetizers and dinner. Then, once the cake is cut and you’ve had your first dance, the DJ kicks off the dancing with upbeat party music. We start with classic dance floor tunes for the older guests before moving on to the hottest hits, ensuring that the music appeals to all ages.
However, like all of our packages, this option can be further customized. (Our flexibility is part of the reason we’re one of the most in-demand live wedding bands for hire!) For example, another popular option is to forego the second singer, and instead have a saxophonist or percussionist perform live with the DJ on the dance floor.
